As volunteers you bring much to this organization; skills, advice, experience, friendship, vision, leadership, inspiration etc. You also give your time.
While we know that you choose to volunteer selflessly and without expectation of being recognized or rewarded, we wish to do just that. Your dedication is appreciated, and the Sierra Club Toiyabe Chapter is forever grateful to each of you. Whether you are a long-time volunteer or if you got involved recently, and regardless of how many hours you choose to give, it’s important for you to know that what you do makes a difference.
We are a volunteer grassroots organization made up of volunteer-led issue teams working on a range of issues. Through your volunteer leadership and engagement, these issue teams enable the Sierra Club to respond to local issues above and beyond what our staffing and/or funding might otherwise allow.
Please know that your volunteerism is recognized, appreciated, valued and cherished. We thank you and look forward to continuing to work with you in the future.
We're always looking for more people to join us as we advocate for a clean and healthy environment for everyone. If you would like to volunteer, please fill out this form and we will find the best fit for your volunteer time. Toiyabe Chapter: Volunteer Interest Form
“Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of world you want to live in.”
