Event Planners
Social events -- sprinkled with enthusiasm and activism -- can help save the world.
A new event planning team needs a few more volunteers to:
- Help plan fundraising events.
- Plan and join tabling at community events.
- Plan volunteer celebration events such as Earth Day or Volunteer Appreciation.
Google Expert Volunteer Opportunities
Are you a Google Expert? Do you want to do volunteer work on a schedule that you determine? We need help with managing, training and cleaning up our Shared Google Drive. This work can be done as you have the time and desire and gives you an opportunity to gain insight of the amount of work our Chapter and Groups accomplish. A smaller but really necessary need is someone to do the same work described above but limited to our Google Calendar.
Communications
Do you like to write or post on social media? Writers needed for letters to the editor, op-eds, and volunteer interviews for newsletter articles. More people commenting and educating the public creates more public support for change.
