Volunteer Opportunities
Sierra Club is effective, because we support caring people like you in advancing the changes we want to see in our communities and in the world. If you would like to spend some of your time volunteering with Sierra Club, there are some opportunities:
Data Wranglers
If you enjoy playing with databases and other digital platforms, your talents can play a big role in both electoral and legislative victories — helping our canvassers and building powerful public support for the changes we need.
Nominations and Elections
Sierra Club is powered by committed volunteers. Join our Elections and/or Nominations committees to help our Executive Committees find new candidates for leadership at the Chapter and group levels.
Extroverts Needed!
Do you genuinely like talking and connecting with people? We need ambassadors to share Sierra Club's vision to help elect champions, pass important policy, and get more people engaged with the most important work of this century — saving our future!
Technical Experts Needed!
If you have experience, education, or a strong interest in law, botany, biology, hydrology and other natural sciences, you can put it to good use by helping us draft technical comments and analyses in service to our wildlife and landscapes. Join our Conservation & Public Lands Team.
Learn more about all our opportunities and sign up here.
