Great Basin Outdoor School invites educators and their school-age children to a family-friendly Project WET professional development workshop at Oxbow Nature Study Area in Reno on Sat- urday, June 24. Project WET is a comprehensive collection of water education materials with hands-on, inquiry-based lessons that are ready for use and aligned to Nevada State Standards, S.T.E.M., and the Common Core. JULY. Parents and grand- parents can get kids outdoors in July at the River School Farm in Reno with Great Basin Outdoor School’s summer day camp.
