Climate Change melting Yosemite's Lyell Glaciers

Today, the East Lyell Glacier is shrinking fast and may not any longer qualify as a glacier and the West Lyell Glacier could soon share its fate.  The nearby Maclure Glacier is shrinking, too. A June 2016 article in the High Country News quotes Yosemite's geologist, Greg Stock, as saying that the Lyell Glacier could be gone within 10 years. Read the article here.
