A recent June 2022 Sierra Club article, Corpus Christi LNG Is An Environmental Injustice In Texas’ Coastal Bend, discusses the proposed expansion of Corpus Christi LNG, which, as the article states, is "a massive fracked gas export facility" and is "owned by the super-polluting fossil fuel corporation Cheniere". This is extremely problematic because "Cheniere’s proposed expansion would increase the facility’s export capacity by two-thirds". It is part of the continuing, full-blown effort by the fracked gas industry to expand its infrastructure on the Gulf Coast.
