Welcome Our New Intern, Camila Rojas!

Camila Rojas at the Meixc-arte museum

Camila was born and raised in Mexico City and has been living in Austin since 2016 where she graduated from St. Edward’s University with a degree in Environmental Science and Policy. During her time in school she became an advocate for Environmental Justice and Sustainability on Campus. Camila has previously interned for the Colorado River Alliance and the Mexic-arte museum. She has also had the opportunity to study and work in Central America focusing on tourism issues and environmental education. During her internship with the Lone Star Chapter, she will be working with the Communications Coordinator to create social media and online content. Camila is really excited to expand her community building skills online and put her passion for environmental justice into practice.
