[Editor's Note: This is a national Sierra Club position.] Sierra Club is looking to hire an experienced Organizing Manager to support Gulf South organizers and campaigns for a just transition to a cleaner, more equitable economy. Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama are home to some of the dirtiest power plants in the country, front line of a booming and polluting petrochemical industry, and where you’ll find one of the largest oil & gas production, pipeline, and export machines in the world. We can’t confront climate change in the U.S. or around the world without confronting the fossil fuel machine in the Gulf South.
To do that, we need an Organizing Manager with deep experience in community and movement organizing, in building issue campaigns and strategy, in supporting and coaching staff, and in centering equity and justice in their work.
Please submit your cover letter and resume to: https://chm.tbe.taleo.net/chm01/ats/careers/v2/viewRequisition?org=SIERRACLUB&cws=39&rid=1307 Applications are being considered immediately.
