You're both going to be at Patagonia in Austin this Thursday! Join the Sierra Club Beyond Coal Campaign, the Big Bend Conservation Alliance, and Patagonia to help celebrate 100 years of the National Park Service!
Right now we’re working to both preserve the air quality of our treasured national parks like Big Bend and the Guadalupe Mountains, and protect the health of fellow Texans suffering from coal pollution in our cities. Come stop by to listen to some live music from Dana Falconberry and Medicine Bow, and learn more about what we're doing to ensure more responsible use of our state's resources at the state and local levels.
Bring your friends, come on down and share your love of our nation’s treasured parks!
Dirty coal that is mined and burned in Texas and Northern Mexico is polluting our West Texas skies and harming public health in Texas communities like Dallas-Ft. Worth, San Antonio, and Eagle Pass. Fracking and natural gas pipelines in West Texas pose a threat to the environmental health of Big Bend, Balmorrhea, and their neighboring communities.
Only with your help and involvement can we continue to build a movement to protect these parks, clean our air, and transition to a 21st century new energy economy. Come have a drink provided by Hops & Grain and The Austin Winery, and enjoy a night of good music and environmental activism.
