Bug's-Eye View
A French photographer captures the immersive experience of being in a forest
It's not easy for an artist to capture in a single image the immersive experience of standing in a forest, feeling dwarfed by massive beings. French photographer Francois Casanova manages this feat by taking several photos with a fish-eye lens and then assembling them to create a 360° perspective. Pictured here: a grove of beech trees in the Forêt de Vizzavona, on the island of Corsica.
