The Sierra Club Bay Chapter has endorsed both Rubén Hernández Story and Igor Tregub for the Berkeley City Council District 4 Special Election on May 28th.
Rubén Hernández Story is an immigrant raised by a single mother in public housing. He’s dedicated his public service career to fighting for safe walking and biking, public transit, renewable energy, affordable and missing middle-income housing, green spaces, gun violence prevention, and uplifting young people and people of color.
Igor Tregub is a clean energy expert who helped pass the nation’s first building electrification ordinance and is committed to making Berkeley America’s first carbon-free city. Throughout his 20+ years of service at every Sierra Club level, he’s championed climate, transportation, and housing justice, and will lead on these issues if elected.
Please cast your #1 and #2 votes for these environmental champions in the order of your choosing.
