Meet the Birds
The monthly meeting of the Los Serranos Group of the Sierra Club is Tuesday, March 15, at 7:00 PM. Join us for an enjoyable photo tour that shows how birds change lives. Professional photographer Steve Kaye will show his photos of mostly local birds. He’ll also share information about these birds, tell the stories behind the photos, and offer practical tips on how to take better photos. Meeting is held upstairs in the First Presbyterian Church Education building, 869 N. Euclid Ave, Upland, take the left side stairs. New members and the public are welcome. Click on Los Serranos Meeting 3/15 above for more info.
This is an excellent program for your friends who might be interested in knowing more about birds. And it’s a wonderful reminder of the extraordinary beauty that we have outdoors. So bring a friend. And if you have yet to attend a meeting, this program is for you.
Steve Kaye has been taking photos since 1965. He has spoken at photo clubs, judged photo contests, and conducted classes on Nature Photography. Recently two of his photos were selected for a book about woodpeckers (to be published this year). From 1992 - 2010 he conducted leadership workshops nationwide that showed leaders how to achieve greater success. He is the author of four books, hundreds of articles, and five collections of poetry.
