San Francisco Climate Week Starting April 5th

San Francisco Climate Week is brought to you by Brighter Climate Futures and Authors, Large and Small, and endorsed by Norcal Solar (Northern California Solar Energy Association) and the San Francisco Bay Chapter of the Sierra Club.

Come join us on April 5th - 10th for a week of exciting and meaningful online Facebook/Zoom events that aim at timely and adequate solutions to Climate Change, from the local to the global. Mind, body and soul come together in this series of events highlighting dance, artists, poets, activists, and practitioners.

Throughout the week, Climate Week organizer Dr. Hari Lamba and guest speakers from 350 Bay Area, Sierra Club SF Bay Chapter, Local Clean Energy Alliance, and other organizations will share educational talks, beginning at 6pm PST each evening (no event on April 8th). All of the weekday events are free, and will be hosted live on the Brighter Climate Futures Facebook page (with links to attend through Zoom if preferred).

The final event on April 10th, organized by Authors Small and Large, will be a gathering with art, poetry, dance and speakers to celebrate our commitment to reverse climate change. To attend the final celebration, you must register on Eventbrite. All U.S. residents will receive a copy of Dr. Lamba’s book Brighter Climate Future and a packet of tree seeds. If you would like to receive these items in time for the April 10th event, please register by April 1st.
