Webinars to help you advance climate literacy in your community's schools: June 30 and July 7

By Sarah Ranney

Our destabilizing climate is deepening the inequalities and injustices we see so vividly today. Youth are leading the charge for change. But they need everyone's commitment to help.

Want to help? Then please join us for a Zoom webinar that will show you a way: How to Advance Climate Literacy in Your Community's Schools. The webinar will be held twice, on the following dates:

Tuesday, June 30th
6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
RSVP

Tuesday, July 7th
12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
RSVP

Members of the San Francisco Bay Chapter's Climate Literacy Committee will share their experiences in working with both public and independent schools to integrate climate change into their curricula.

Be prepared to participate! Because we want you to walk away with next steps for advancing climate literacy in your community, we'll need to know something about your locality. How are your students being impacted by climate change? What's happening (and what's not) in the way of climate and environmental education in your schools today?

Advance registration is required. Register at the links above for either meeting (they cover the same topics). After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Thank you for taking action to protect future generations!

Sarah Ranney is chair of the Climate Literacy Committee of the Sierra Club San Francisco Bay Chapter.
