Volunteer program organizer needed for SF Dinner speaker series

The Sierra Club's San Francisco Dinner program needs a new coordinator beginning in September 2020. The monthly program presents fascinating and knowledgeable speakers on timely environmental issues and photographic presentations from seasoned world travelers in a social setting that includes a delicious sit-down dinner.

The new program coordinator will benefit from full transitional coaching from the current program lead, four speakers already lined up to present in Fall 2020 and Winter 2020-21, promotional support from the Sierra Club, and good equipment. We’re particularly interested in candidates who want to help reshape the program with an emphasis on attracting younger audiences.

The Sierra Club SF Bay Chapter’s SF Dinners program has delighted audiences since 1924 (with one nine-year break). It meets the third Thursday of each month at 3201 Ulloa Street in San Francisco. Visit our events calendar to see upcoming SF Dinners programs.
