Members: Vote for your local Sierra Club representatives by Dec. 14

In order for the Sierra Club to make an impact commensurate with the enormity of the threats facing the environment today, we need our members to be active and engaged. Right now, that means voting in the election for your local Sierra Club representatives. These volunteer leaders represent members in deciding local Club policy on issues ranging from transportation to conservation. Make sure they speak for you!

The election for your local Sierra Club leaders is open through December 14th, and we strongly urge you to vote. Here's how:

  1. Review the voting instructions and candidate statements
  2. Cast your vote online or via the paper ballot included in the Winter issue of the Yodeler (hitting mailboxes in early December)
  3. Be sure that your ballot is received by 2pm on Friday, December 14th

With the Trump administration implementing its aggressively anti-environment agenda at the federal level, the work we do to hold the line at the local level matters more than ever before. Your local Sierra Club chapter plays a key role in pushing the Bay Area to be an ever greener, cleaner, and healthier example for the rest of the world. But as a grassroots organization, we can't do any of this critical work without dedicated, knowledgeable volunteer leaders at the helm. Please vote!

You've already made the choice to be a member of the nation's largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization — thank you! Now we're calling on you to get involved and stay involved. After you vote, please consider signing up to volunteer, come to an event or outing, and make a donation.
