On September 8th, come to the March, stay for the Dinner!

September 8th will be a day to remember. First, we’ll join the mass mobilization on the streets of San Francisco for the Rise for Climate, Jobs, and Justice March — one of thousands of rallies in cities and towns around the world to demand our local leaders commit to building a fossil free world that puts people and justice before profits.

Then, to cap off the day in the spirit of grassroots power, we’re holding our annual gala celebration, the David Brower Dinner, at San Francisco's Delancey Street Town Hall from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Tickets are now on sale, so click here to join us for a fun evening of music, mingling, food, and inspirational speakers.

The evening’s honorees represent the strength, breadth, and diversity of the Bay Area’s environmental movement, including:

  • Congressman Jared Huffman, a champion of legislation that protects and preserves the environment
  • Jonathan Jarvis, a proud lifelong public servant and director of the United States National Park Service under President Barack Obama
  • High school climate literacy activists from Oakland Technical High School
  • Dick Schneider, a citizen activist and longtime Sierra Club leader on open space preservation

The David Brower Dinner is a benefit for the coming year of environmental activism and conservation here in the Bay Area, as well as a celebration of the individuals who make that work happen. We hope you will join us on September 8th for the March and then for the Dinner. To change everything, it takes everyone!
