We're looking for volunteers willing to give 1-2 hours of their time between now and Sunday, September 18th, to call Benicia residents in advance of Tuesday’s critical city council hearing on Valero’s proposed crude-by-rail project (read the latest news here).
The good news: you can make calls from the comfort of your own home, glass of wine in hand!
If you're available, email ethan@stand.earth and I’ll get you set up with our fancy-shmancy phone banking software, which will give you everything you need to make calls at home.
If you do prefer to do phone banking in person, Rebekah Ramos is hosting a phone bank on Saturday, September 17th, at her home in Benicia from 10am to noon. Email her at rebekahramos@comcast.net if you’d like to come out.
