Monday, July 17, 2023, at 9 am, the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors will hear from the public, during both in-person testimony and online or telephone testimony, and then vote to adopt our Local Coastal Plan.

Go to localcoastalplan.com for detailed information regarding the site specific protections that the BoS cast a straw vote to remove for the first time ever from the Local Coastal Plan. That puts these jewels of the Sonoma Coast in jeopardy. The final vote to adopt the LCP as mentioned will be July 17.

Please Send an Email Now to the Sonoma County Supervisors: at bos@sonoma-county.org and let them know that the parcel-specific protections in our Local Coastal Plan need to be retained to keep our coastal protection intact.
