On issues like climate change she feels that we need to look to renewable energy and energy efficiency as responses for public policy in reducing greenhouse gases and will be part of her responsibility and goals as a legislator.  Also of importance is the warehouse issue, which is having a big impact on several of the communities in her district.

Stefanie Rafes has been inspired by her family's commitment to public service and her career in healthcare to seek this position in the PA House and to represent her friends and neighbors in the Lehigh Valley. Stefanie is concerned about air quality in our communities and hopes to work in the state legislature for policies that will reduce air pollution. She is also committed to Open Space and Farmland Preservation and promoting smart growth policies to manage the proliferation of warehouses and protect the regional environment.

Congresswoman Susan Wild has pledged to keep fighting to pass commonsense legislation like the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and secure critical investments to bolster our local economy and lower costs for Lehigh Valley families and address the climate challenge. The IRA has also helped families across the Greater Lehigh Valley save on their monthly energy bills and is working to allow manufacturers across America to create good-paying jobs and promote Made-In-America policies.
