Candidate Statement:

I am a C-level sales, marketing and business development executive for Fortune 500 companies, private equity and global NGOs as well as a certified Ohio Volunteer Naturalist, volunteer for the Black Swamp Bird Observatory, and a sustainably focused flower farmer in the Hocking Hills region.

Professionally I have served as Chief Commercial Officer in private equity, was formerly the Chief Marketing Officer for the Center for Creative Leadership, a top-ranked global provider of executive education, and was Global Director, Sales and Business Development at Trane Technologies, a global climate innovator. Prior to these roles, I served as Global Director, Marketing Operations and Technology and as a Global Head of Marketing at Ingersoll Rand.

With over 20 years in industry, I am a global senior executive with extensive experience leading teams responsible for all aspects of global sales, marketing and business development, as well as the development and launch of strategic initiatives designed to grow awareness of and interest in the brands I represent.

I have capitalized on my deep functional expertise to successfully cultivate and lead multicultural teams both large and small and am considered a subject matter expert in sales management, marketing strategy, marketing operations, brand strategy, and business growth.

But more importantly, I seek to ignite positive and transformative change, an urgent remit during these evolving times. Norms have been disrupted across the globe and the time for bold, brave leaders is now. The Sierra Club has a pivotal opportunity to speak to people at all levels and support them on their journey to better themselves and their environments. I would be both humbled and proud to serve Ohio on the Executive Committee. I am eager to help propel the Sierra Club Ohio Chapter to reach their highest potential and bring all my experience to bear for the state I call home, and especially the Hocking Hills region that I love.
