High School Students Visit the Statehouse!

I have been collaborating with a group of St. Francis DeSales high school students on their concern over plastic pollution. Today I took them to the statehouse to meet with Ohio Senator Charleta B. Tavares. She support's the students opposition to SB210 (an ALEC backed preemption bill prohibiting local municipalities from placing fees on plastic bags and bottles). It has been such a joy working with intelligent and passionate young people, and I loved hearing Senator Tavares give college advice to the students! The future looks bright with women like this leading it!
