Thank you to all who attended and participated in the Sierra Club Ohio Chapters events and activities from around the state. We are grateful to all those that lent their voices, time and ideas to create awareness in the public sphere.
As we prepare to close out 2017 I am extremely proud of your response and engagement; for in past 6 months we've achieved the following:
1. Strengthened environmental participation with over 1,500 grassroots actions.
2. Created partnerships with non-traditional organizations such as For our Future Fund, Planned Parenthood, and Working America.
3. Partnered with multiple organizations to host over 50 lobby visits with nearly 200 people in attendance.
4. Submitted over 60 letters to the editor pertaining to Federal and State Clean Energy standards and Energy Efficiency standards in the State of Ohio.
5. Expanded committees and campaigns EV working group, Ready for 100, and Clean Energy.
Let's continue building and creating for we have work to do.
