Join the Sierra Club and our partners as we celebrate National Drive Electric Week throughout Ohio from Saturday, Sept. 9, through Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017! Events are being held in cities across the state, including Albany, Akron, Athens, Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, Lakewood, Perrysburg and Shaker Heights. Visit the NDEW website for an event map and other details.
National Drive Electric Week is a nationwide celebration that heightens awareness of today's widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlights the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles and more. EVs are fun to drive, are less expensive and more convenient to fuel than gasoline vehicles, are better for the environment, promote local jobs and reduce our dependence on foreign oil.
If you are considering going electric, attend a NDEW event near you, and hear from current EV owners. If you already own an EV, bring your car and participate in the discussion!
Ps. Don't forget to join our monthly Ohio Transportation Team call on Monday, Sept. 11 at 7p! Email nathan.alley@sierraclub.org for details.
