As always, Sierra Club Ohio is busy working toward an equitable and just environment.
Our amazingly devoted volunteers, members, and staff are hard at work multi-tasking to tend to the many environmental challenges that we all face – creating more vibrant conditions for all of us to thrive. As we look across our planet and witness tragic devastation, we share in the need to make a difference.
We are pleased to offer a monthly newsletter to all members and supporters across Ohio.
In sharing our transformational work with everyone, we hope you’ll enjoy reading about all the ways you can get involved and stay in the know on how Sierra Club Ohio is creating a statewide environmental movement.

How can you make a difference in this year's elections? Which environmental champions can you support? Sierra Club Ohio is here to help you! Come to discuss all of this with us! The Ohio Political Committee is organizing a virtual call for you to learn how you can be the most effective in political work this crucial year. In this session, we will explain how our endorsement process works, ways you can engage with local elections, and preview upcoming training opportunities.
At our July meeting we discussed the possibility of trying a starter project that would enable us to utilize one or more of our in-process Community Agreements to determine where our strengths lie at present. We plan to create a timeline to explore possible starter projects, using this resource from Equity vs. Equality (watch here ). Next month we will report on the timeline, finalize the Community Agreements and Interventions, and make a decision about next steps.
