Have you ever been on a hike and thought “Wow! I’d love to show this to someone else”? Be on your way to becoming an Outings Leader for the Sierra Club by attending all or part of this all day training event.

9:00am-1:00pm  Outdoor Leadership Training 101

1:00pm-5:00pm  Basic First Aid

Basic first aid will be taught by Dr. Wes Wallace. Dr Wallace is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at UNC Chapel Hill and a member of the Wilderness Medical Society. This is a free event although you need to be at least 18 yrs old and a member of the Sierra Club.
