From the national club to the state chapter to our local groups, volunteers are the driving force of the Sierra Club. You can help in many ways:
- Connect with your local group. Local Groups across North Carolina organize activist events, outings, lectures and more, in addition to uniting for Chapter-led initiatives. Find your group in the list below, then contact them for more info about their meetings and activities.
- Be an activist. Join our advocacy efforts with federal, state or local lawmakers. Participate in demonstrations, monitor public meetings, take part in phone and email action alerts.
- Stay informed. Sign up for Footnotes Online, our monthly e-newsletter. Follow us on Facebook. Read our blog. Attend group meetings and educational events.
