Sarah Willey, our current Missouri Chapter chair, has just been elected chair of the Sierra Club's Council of Club Leaders (CCL). The CCL is an important entity within the club as it is a forum in which chapter leaders participate more fully in the management of the Sierra Club.

Most of us will recall that we elect a Sierra Club Board of Directors, which along with the Club's Executive Director, is the Club's chief executive organization. But the CCL also has a role in consultation with the BOD. Sarah in her role as CCL chair will attend and participate in BOD meetings. Thanks Sarah for your volunteer efforts and being a voice for SC Chapters.
