Volunteer Opportunities

On a recent trip to Canyonland National Park, Paul Stupperich and I discussed with park personnel the volunteer opportunities available. They are in need of personnel to man the visitor center during the winter months.

The minimum tour is three months at $7.00 per day for a 32 hour work week. Quarters are provided, but not meals. The duties will be to man the counter at the visitor center, answer questions, collect fees, provide general information about the park and etc.

The nearest grocery store or medical aid is at Monticello 54 miles away.
