Celebrate Chapter Director Gail's Legacy in Michigan

For the past seven years, Gail Philbin has led the Michigan Chapter of the Sierra Club. During her tenure, our Chapter has accomplished so much including shutting down coal plants, protecting wolf populations in the state, bringing about new regulations for copper, lead, and forever chemicals like PFAS, increasing funding for the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative, and driving activism that led to the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, the single largest climate investment we've seen at the federal level.

This work was powered by Gail's strong leadership, dedicated staff, and volunteers like YOU. Now we need YOU to show your continued support for the Chapter as we transition to new leadership. Please donate today to ensure the Chapter will continue Gail's strong legacy.
