Gretchen Whitmer for Governor
and Garlin Gilchrist for Lt. Governor
Gov. Whitmer and Lt. Gov. Gilchrist have won Sierra Club's endorsement for reelection because of their commitment to fight climate change, invest in clean energy and infrastructure and protect the Great Lakes.
Dana Nessel for Attorney General
Attorney General Nessel ran for office four years ago motivated by concern about Line 5 and danger it poses to the Great Lakes. She has demonstrated her commitment to the environment and democracy through her actions, winning her the Sierra Club Environmentalist of the Year award in 2020. Michigan needs Dana Nessel as our top law enforcement officer for the coming years.
Jocelyn Benson for
Secretary of State
Protecting Michigan's environment depends on protecting democracy and ensuring that interests of the people of Michigan are paramount for elected officials. Secretary Benson has made her commitment to fair and open elections her top priority, winning her Sierra Club's 2019 Environmentalist of the Year award. She deserves your vote this November.
