Michigan Election Green Wave: Climate won the Michigan midterms. Voters reelected environmental champions Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Attorney General Dana Nessel and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson. Voters supported candidates who will protect our Great Lakes and communities in spite of millions spent to defeat them. Sierra Club volunteers and staff worked hard to bring a green wave to Michigan. Mixed Reviews for DTE Plan: DTE Energy has filed an updated 15-year energy plan (Integrated Resource Plan) with the Michigan Public Service Commission. The plan has some encouraging and disappointing features, and Sierra Club will fully engage in working to speed up getting DTE off coal. Read the full press release here.
