Oakland County Is About To Pass Its Most Environmentally-Friendly Budget In Its History.

In Oakland County’s upcoming budget, commissioners will be voting on both funding and staff to fight climate change and protect our environment. The budget is of critical importance, and is the most significant local piece of climate legislation in the state of Michigan.

Protecting Oakland County’s unique natural heritage is critical. The county has the most inland lakes of any county in Michigan, and is home to five different watersheds. The first-hand impacts of climate change on these beautiful natural spaces and cities is already happening.

RSVP today for the Climate Day of Action at the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Chambers on 1200 Court Tower Blvd, Pontiac, MI 48341 on September 29th at 9:30am.
