U.S. EPA Lists Two PFAS Chemicals Under Superfund Law
On Friday, August 26th, EPA Administrator Michael Regan announced plans to add two per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) chemicals - PFOS and PFOA - as hazardous substances under the federal Superfund Law. This is a positive step toward fighting against these forever chemicals.

Updates on Line 5!
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is accepting public comments in the first step in considering a proposed oil tunnel under the Great Lakes for Line 5. The first round of comments will lay the basis for the agency deciding whether or not to approve a permit for Enbridge to build the tunnel. The Army Corps needs to be urged to look at the full range of potential impacts of Line 5, including the proposed reroute in Wisconsin, impacts on Indigenous communities and cultural sites, climate impacts and a broad array of alternatives.
