The Sierra Club leverages the power of our networks of volunteers and members in every state to help elect environmental candidates. The Sierra Club sees the importance of having environmental champions at all levels of elected office. We endorse candidates in more than 250 federal races each election year, including the race for President. The Maryland Chapter and local Maryland Groups make endorsements in city, county, and statewide races.
