No need to sweat the origin myths about Thanksgiving. We know that it is the one holiday of the year that we can celebrate with a huge appetite and a heart full of gratitude. No gifts required! HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE!
And now, there's a lot to digest right here.

Thanks to the tireless work of dedicated LES Sierrans, we have brought Sierra Club's message to over a dozen farmer's markets, universities and community organizations throughout the year. We've had two Group-wide meetings featuring extraordinary guest speakers. We've been instrumental in pushing single-use plastice bag bans. We've enthusiastically lobbied our state representatives to adopt and enforce clean energy initiatives, and we've strived to connect with all of you to enhance and extend Sierra Club's efforts to conserve wilderness and combat climate change. If you are reading this, then know that we appreciate you and need your help to make these efforts even more successful.
