WHY:        Eight years ago, the largest oil spill in America's history was caused by the explosion of the Deepwater Horizon project owned and operated by BP; 11 individuals died and millions of Americans have been impacted. Yet of the more than 37,000 qualified medical benefit claims submitted by cleanup workers, first responders and coastal residents, only 40 have been paid.Worse, while the Plaintiffs Steering Committee for this disaster walked away with at least $350 million in fees and the Claims Administrator walked away with $155 million, all the victims who were compensated shared in only a $60 million payment. Those paid from that $60 million represent only a small fraction of the injured who helped in the cleanup and live in the designated impact zones. This rally tells the rest of the world, especially BP, corporate America, the Plaintiffs Steering Committee, the Claims Administrator, Judge Carl Barbier and countless others who are ready to forget the 2010 disaster: WE WON'T LET THAT HAPPEN UNTIL JUSTICE IS SERVED.
