The Iowa Sierra Club's October newsletter is available. Recommend that you read the article on the Jordan Aquifer as it provides us with drinking water and is endangered by Pattison Sands. Pattison Sands requested a permit to pump millions of gallons of water from the Jordan Aquifer to ship and sell out-of-state for their private profits.  The Department of Natural Resources rejected that application.  Now Pattison has appealed the decision.
