The Heartlands Group of the Sierra Club Hoosier Chapter is taking applications for members on its Executive Committee.
To participate you must live in the Heartland Group Sierra Club area and be a Sierra Club member.
We are a group of Sierra Club volunteer members in the Indianapolis area (Marion County, Hendricks County, Hamilton County, Boone County, Hancock County, Boone County, Johnson County, Shelby County, & Morgan County). We are looking forward to next year as so much is happening across central Indiana, both environmentally and fighting climate change. It is our goal to increase our capacity of interested and active members throughout the region and to engage in activities that are closer to those members who are in the surrounding counties.
The region is diverse and the opportunities for involvement are just as challenging and diverse. We’re excited to start off this next year with additional Executive Committee members and invite everyone to get involved, pursue your interest and passions, while we “Enjoy, Explore, and Protect the Planet.”
The challenges are great. Now more than any time in our recent history is it important for our Community, our State, and our Country to have a robust Sierra Club Group in the Heart of Indiana.
