The Southwestern Indiana Network of the Sierra Club Hoosier Chapter serves Vanderburgh and surrounding counties.
We have an emphasis on conservation, political action, environmental advocacy, outdoor enjoyment, and fun!
As fall approaches the season of gathering and preparing for the winter legislative season is here. We are expecting many crucial environmental and energy issues we care about to come up in the 2025 session of the Indiana General Assembly. Whether protecting Indiana waters, expanding conservation funding, or promoting an affordable clean energy transition - it takes all of us to make our voices heard!

February 29 – when we all SHOWED UP in record numbers – seems like a long time ago. Since then, movement on CenterPoint’s rate case has continued.

The Evidentiary Hearings in Cause 45990 are scheduled to start Tuesday, September 3, 2024, and will continue on September 10 and 11 if needed.
