Sierra Club at White Pine Wilderness Academy

The whole Sierra Club team in Indiana would like to thank everyone who joined us at our event at White Pine Wilderness Academy earlier this month where our Chapter Coordinator, Rebecca, sang songs inspired by her sabbatical and nature.

It was great to meet with so many of you in person and chat about our work and how we can protect our beautiful state's natural places!

In addition to music from Rebecca, we had readings by poet Lisa Barton, and a song from White Pine youth leader, Coyote.

Amanda and Ashlyn from the staff team, along with volunteer leaders Julie, Marilyn, Roxanna, Shannon, and Greg, were there to chat with attendees and answer questions about our work- as well as providing delicious pizza and home-baked sweet treats!

We are especially grateful to White Pine Wilderness Academy for hosting us in their beautiful space and for all their help to make this event happen, and to the amazing photographer Leif Ostara who took such wonderful photos for us to remember the evening by.

Make sure to sign up to our email list to be kept informed of upcoming events!
