Sangamon Valley Group hosted the Stone Soup Hike at Lincoln Memorial Garden on New Years Day. About 30 people attended the annual event where participants bring vegetables and meats to toss into the soup. While the soup cooked everyone went on a two-mile hike through the gardens and returned to enjoy a bowl of hot "stone" soup.
