US tour is bigger than just abortion

Your Sept. 4 headline 'Harris-Walz bus tour on abortion kicks off' really missed the mark. Yes, it is an important campaign tour that started locally but, as the signs in the picture show, the tour is about reproductive freedom. It’s about the availability of contraceptives, about freedom to choose a safe, legal abortion, and about keeping medical decisions between doctor and patient. It’s about saving women’s lives, fertility and dignity. It’s about women having bodily autonomy, including reproductive freedom.
