I’ve worked on the hydraulic fracturing issue since June 2008, both upstate and down, given speeches at rallies, lobbied in Albany and New York City, written and edited articles and flyers, co-wrote the first legislative bill to ban fracking in April 2010, been interviewed on radio and cable TV numerous times, and helped organize forums and screenings to publicize the unacceptability of allowing further development of fossil and nuclear fuels to threaten our lives.
At present, I’m co-chair of the national Agriculture & Food Team, whose mission is to go Beyond Industrial Agriculture. As current chair of the NYC Group, I continue to recruit new members to revitalize ideas and energy for the Club. carlarnold@mac.com 718 788 5944
