New Drone Footage Shows Trump's Wall Decimating Cabeza Prieta and Endangered Pronghorn Habitat
New drone footage taken by the Center for Biological Diversity -- shows border wall construction blasting through a wildlife refuge and mountain range -- in one of the most remote regions of the United States.
The "Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge" and the rugged "Tinajas Altas Mountains" (in the "Barry M. Goldwater Bombing Range", east of Yuma, Arizona) -- are home to the endangered Sonoran Pronghorn -- along with a huge diversity of fragile desert species.
The Center's "Borderlands Campaigner" Laiken Jordahl put it this way:
“Trump is bulldozing the borderlands’ most beautiful, rugged landscapes -- for nothing, but a twisted campaign promise. Walling off these protected wildlands will kill wildlife, obliterate sacred sites and rip a hideous scar -- through the heart of the world’s most biodiverse desert. We’ll continue to fight Trump’s despicable border wall, every step of the way -- and we won’t stop, until it’s torn down.”
We agree.
