Join us for a free screening of new film 'Reinventing Power' on June 5

All are invited to a free screening of the Sierra Club film "Reinventing Power: America's Clean Energy Boom" starting at 6:30 p.m. June 5 at Ahrya Fine Arts theater in Beverly Hills. Sierra Club Executive Producer Michael Brune; the film's director at Transit Pictures, Tony Valentino; and executive producer Amber Valletta will be on hand to talk about the issues raised in the film.

The movie is a colleciton of powerful personal stories that together show how local and grass-roots leadership are driving the transition to clean energy, and how that's benfiting communities across America in red and blue states. It also includes cautionary tales about how me must make sure clean energy is truly accessible to everyone, and that the benefits extend to low-income neighborhoods and communbities ot color.

In the film, you'll hear from individuals who are working to rebuild what's broken, rethink what's possible, and revitalize communities. Their stories are proof that America does not need to choose between keeping our lights on and protecting our communities.

Over the film's 50 minutes, viewer will meet people in eight states whose lives were changed by the renewable energy industry while exploring various aspects of the clean energy industry from innovation to installation.

The free special screening will start with a cocktail hour at 6:30 p.m., allowing guests to mingle before the screening begins at 7:15 p.m. The evening will close with a panel discussion on clean energy.

Critically, "Reinventing Power" underscores the notion that we don't have to sacrifice jobs for a clean environment. Supporting a clean energy future means building a better, more prosperous future for everyone.

RSVP to let us know you'll be joining us.
