Join us for our Conservation Fall Open House on Oct. 21

The Angeles Chapter Conservation Committee invites you to the First Fall Open House on Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come learn about what environmental issues we are working on, participate in our discussion about clean air, sustainable communities and protection of our coast and open spaces. We would be delighted to hear about the environmental issues occurring in your community.

The Conservation Committee is comprised of 14 entities throughout the Los Angeles and Orange Counties, ranging on issues regarding preservation of open spaces, environmental justice, green technology, water conservation, endangered species and climate. This open house is an excellent way to meet members that are working on conservation and learn how you too can get involved.

The event is free, lunch will be provided, open to everyone, so bring a friend!

There are also games, giveaways and prizes. At the open house, you'll:

* meet new people,

* learn ways to take action in your community,

* participate in interactive ways to work on conservation issues, and

* learn about tools to help partner with local community groups.
