Sierra Club Angeles Chapter has a long term commitment to solving the problem of climate disruption. As an endorsing organization, Sierra Club invites members and supporters to attend the upcoming Climate Resolve event:
Path to Positive: Los Angeles Climate Day
Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels Conference Center
555 W. Temple St. Los Angeles, CA
Friday November 6th, 2015, 8:00-2:30 pm
Angelenos are ready to tackle the climate challenge, and Los Angeles can lead the nation to a positive energy future. Path to Positive: Los Angeles is empowering local leaders with programs in five sectors – faith, health, business, higher ed, and municipalities – to enable them to reduce their emissions and engage their communities in climate solutions that will make a difference now.
Through affirming our common values and through effective communication, we can address the drought, reduce the threat to public health, and foster a livable and prosperous future for generations to come. Path to Positive: Los Angeles Climate Day is an opportunity to show Southern California communities that their leaders are coming together to strengthen efforts on solutions, and to develop new ways of meeting challenges.
Tickets are free, but you may choose to make a donation to support local climate programs.
