State Representative #2, District 3
As Vice-chair of the House appropriation Committee, Timm Ormsby has demonstrated that he is very concerned with getting the necessary revenue to fund the basic functions of state government. He says that as in past years, without sustainable revenue essential work cannot be done. This includes critical services performed by our natural resource agencies, which have been decimated in recent budgets. Also, he has indicated that following the Governor’s lead on climate change is a “no-brainer.” He suggests that this crisis can be addressed while still creating quality jobs and business opportunities, and he believes the issues surrounding the quantity and quality of our water resources should be front and center on the legislative agenda.
