Steve Conway is a graduate of the University of Oregon, with a master’s degree in history and a doctorate in philosophy. He was a Fulbright Scholar at the London School of Economics. After serving the 29th District as a State Representative for 18 years, Steve has represented the 29th District as Senator for the last 3 1/2 years. He is the ranking member of the Senate Commerce and Labor Committee and also serves on the Senate Ways and Means and Government Operations Committees. Though he recently retired as a business agent for the United Food and Commercial Worker’s Union, Local 81, he is still an active advocate for labor as he has been over the last couple of decades.
